Trail Siero

Trail Siero has become one of the reference autumn events in central Asturias. Organized by Actitude Eventos together with the Siero Municipal Sports Board, the race reaches its fourth edition in 2026, starting and finishing at Pola de Siero’s Plaza Cubierta.

A route between town and hills

The main course (25K, 1,050m of climbing) leaves via Calle Marquesa de Canillejas towards the La Isla neighbourhood and the Feve station, before climbing to Cerro Gavio (707m), the highest point of the Siero municipality, with a final descent through pine forest back to the town centre. The category can also be run as a relay, split into two legs of 13K and 12K.

For those looking for a shorter distance, the Trail Corto (11.5K, 300m of climbing) covers a reduced version of the circuit, while the Andarines (8.5K) offer a non-competitive option to complete the course on foot, with a kids’ version (Crece Trail Siero) that turns the day into a family event.

An accessible race in central Asturias

Pola de Siero’s closeness to Oviedo and Gijón, both about 15-20 minutes away, makes this one of the most accessible races on the Asturian calendar, which explains its high turnout (up to 250 runners in the main distance, plus the short and relay categories).

Siero beyond the race

After the race, take the chance to explore Pola de Siero’s historic centre or rest at the nearby Parque de Vega Poja. Discover other races in the Asturias region and plan your visit with the race planner.
