How it is calculated

  1. We start from a typical lifespan per shoe type: from 350 km for carbon-plated to 800 km for max-cushioned.
  2. We adjust it for terrain (technical wears faster) and your weight.
  3. Each physical wear sign adds 10 % extra wear.

These are rough figures: real life depends on your stride and each model.

Shoe wear FAQ

How often should trail shoes be replaced?

Between 500 and 800 km for most models; less on technical terrain or for heavier runners.

How do I know the midsole is dead?

Deep wrinkles, a hard feel when pressed or new knee and shin aches mean it has lost its cushioning.

When should I buy the new pair?

At about 75 % of life, so you can break them in for 40-50 km before your next race.
