Trail L’Albiol

Trail L’Albiol is a September fixture of the TrailSeries Costa Daurada. It starts in the Plaça dels Escacs of L’Albiol, in the Alt Camp, and heads into forests, streams and trails with open views over the valleys and the Tarragona coast. The 2026 edition took place on 20 September.

Three distances for every level

The Trail 22K (22.2 km and 906 m of gain, 4 h 30 min limit) is the main event. The 12K (12.8 km, 570 m of gain) can be run or walked as a Trek, and the 6K Start Trail (170 m of gain) opens the door to families and first-timers.

September in the Alt Camp

Late summer still brings warm temperatures and dry, fast trails. Carry enough water, wear a cap and choose shoes with grip for the stream sections.

L’Albiol and the Alt Camp beyond the race

Take time to visit Valls, home of the castells human towers, or the Poblet monastery. If you are combining this trip with other races, browse the races in Catalonia and plan your season with the planner.
