Gore Wear

Thermal running gloves with a non-slip palm and touchscreen fingertips. Light, warm and compatible with poles.

Salomon
Salomon Fast Wing Winter Glove
Technical winter trail running glove with a windproof outer shell and warm lining. Built for long outings in intense cold, wind and some moisture in the mountains.

Cross Alpino Cebreros: 23 years of Gredos mountain running
Born in 2003, the Cross Alpino is one of the longest-running mountain races in Ávila. The 23rd edition starts on Sunday 24 January 2027 from Plaza de España in Cebreros with three courses on the slopes of Gredos.
Three races in one morning
The Long Cross covers 27.2 km with 1,654 m of climbing, starting at 09:30. The Short Cross of 14.8 km and 814 m goes ten minutes later, and the 11.4 km walkers’ route with 592 m closes the starts at 09:42. All three share the same setting: pine woods, boulder fields and mountain tracks above the El Burguillo reservoir.
The Tía Josefa Downhill
What sets the Cross Alpino apart is its timed finale. The last 3.3 km of both the Long and Short Cross, from La Antena aid station to the finish, are timed separately: 311 m of descent flat out. There is a dedicated prize for the fastest descenders, so the race is not over until the last metre.
Prizes and atmosphere
The Cross Alpino pays €300, €150 and €100 in the Long Cross and €150, €75 and €50 in the Short Cross, plus trophies and entries for the following year. The outright male and female winners take home a chuletón steak. It is a village race with real depth: every January it draws runners from Madrid, Ávila and Toledo.
