Thermal running gloves with a non-slip palm and touchscreen fingertips. Light, warm and compatible with poles.

Salomon

Trail Puerta del Rey: the race of the Cañete mountains
Cañete, one of the most photogenic villages in the Cuenca mountains, closes January with the tenth edition of the Trail Puerta del Rey. The event fills the weekend of 30-31 January 2027 and splits the action between night and day.
Saturday night
Saturday 30 hosts the kids race and the night time trial: 6 km with 250 m of climbing by head torch, with individual starts. It is the quickest way to learn the terrain before the main event.
Sunday: 29 km and 1,850 m
The main course arrives on Sunday 31 with 29 km and 1,850 m of ascent, hosting this year’s Castilla-La Mancha trail championship. The route climbs to the high points of the range, passes the medieval walls of Cañete and strings together technical climbs and descents on limestone. The same day there is a 13 km sprint and an open walkers’ march.
A village with a castle
Cañete keeps its walls and the castle that overlooks the Huécar valley. The finish and final aid station sit in the village centre, so families and supporters have everything at hand: square, bars and the castle five minutes away.
