The Valencian Community hosts Penyagolosa Trails, one of the most prestigious races in the Mediterranean. Interior ranges, ravines, and coast offer varied terrain for year-round trail running.

Climate in Valencian Community: The Mediterranean climate grants long trail running windows. Winter and early spring are ideal: clear skies, mild temperatures, and accessible peaks without the stifling summer heat. From June to September the heat can be brutal, especially in the interior ranges, where there's no shade and humidity clings to your skin. Autumn is magical: the sea is still warm, the mountains turn ochre, and races multiply. Always carry more water than you think you need.
