La Picón Castro

The La Picón Castro takes place on 5 June 2027 in Espinosa de los Monteros (Burgos). The event offers 23K (23.2 km), 33K (32.8 km), 62K (62.5 km), with start and finish in Espinosa de los Monteros itself, and it sits on the trail calendar of castilla-y-leon.

The course

The route threads the paths, tracks and ridgelines around Espinosa de los Monteros: wide gravel lanes, singletrack where the ground allows, and steady climbs that bite in the second half. It suits trail runners with solid base mileage; the shorter options work well as a first mountain race without committing to the long one. Start waves, cut-off times and aid stations are published on the organiser’s official website.

The 360 pack

Beyond registration, this page covers nearby accommodation, recommended gear, fuelling guidance, travel directions, car rental, race insurance and sun protection: your whole race plan in one place.
