Los 102 de la Comarca

Los 102 de la Comarca is one of the best-loved ultra challenges in Castile-La Mancha. The premise is simple: 102 kilometres in 24 hours at most, on foot, running or walking and without any vehicle, starting and finishing in Lagartera, in Toledo province. It is organised by NonStop Aventura and the 2027 edition takes place on 20 March, starting at 7:00.

A route across the Campana de Oropesa

The course passes through municipalities of the Campana de Oropesa such as Alcolea de Tajo, Alcañizo, Torralba de Oropesa, Oropesa, Torrico, Valdeverdeja, Calzada de Oropesa, Caleruela and Herreruela de Oropesa. It runs almost entirely on tracks and paths, with asphalt only through towns, and much of it crosses La Mancha dehesa. The toughest point is the climb to Oropesa castle, around km 45.

An ultra to discover the ultra

With around 937 m D+ over 102 km, this is not a big-climb ultra but one of consistency: managing pace, eating well and keeping moving through the night. It is a good first contact with the 100 km distance, with physiotherapy every 25 km and podiatry at km 51 and 75. Review the gear checklist and get your headlamp ready.

Lagartera beyond the race

Lagartera is known for its embroidery and lace tradition, and its surroundings invite a relaxed getaway. If you are looking for more races in the region, check the races in Castile-La Mancha and plan your season with the planner.
