Trail de Noël d’Ollioules: the Var’s Christmas trail

Ollioules, on the doorstep of Toulon, has closed the season for over 25 years with a festive trail: Santa costumes at the start, a decorated village and courses that are anything but gentle. The 2026 race is the 26th edition.

Three courses

  • Défi du Père Noël: 33 km / 2,250 m D+ solo
  • Trail de Noël: 27 km / 1,750 m D+, pairs only
  • Trace des Lutins: 16 km / 800 m D+ solo

Tougher than it looks

With almost 70 m of climbing per kilometre on the Défi, the limestone terrain between the Ollioules gorges and the Gros Cerveau is demanding: very steep climbs, loose rock and fast descents. The 27 km pairs format is ideal for racing with your training partner.

Christmas on the coast

After the race, stroll through Ollioules old town, Sanary-sur-Mer or Bandol. For a double, the Trail du Cap Sicié runs a week earlier a few kilometres away. More among the races in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and in the race planner.
