Pujada a la Mola

The Pujada a la Mola is one of Formentera’s longest-running athletics events: in 2026 it celebrates its 28th edition on Monday 12 October, starting and finishing at Es Caló de Sant Agustí. It is organised by Grup Esportiu Espalmador, the Comissió de Festes del Pilar de La Mola and the Consell Insular de Formentera, and is a FAIB-sanctioned race.

A new 8.6 km course

The main race is about 8.6 km. It leaves Es Caló on a wide track to the Entrepins hotel, takes the Camí Romà (or Camí de Sa Pujada), climbs to La Mola and completes a loop up to Sa Talaïassa before heading down to the finish. The terrain is paved stone and dirt with significant ups and downs. The time limit is 1 hour 15 minutes.

Schedule and free bus

The main start is at 10:30. A free bus runs from Port de La Savina at 9:00 and returns at 13:00. Younger categories run circuits from 100 m to 4 km, and entry is free up to Sub 16.

Formentera beyond the race

Use the long weekend to explore the island. If you like island racing, see the races in the Balearic Islands and plan your season with the planner.
