Climate in Balearic Islands: Balearic Islands have pure Mediterranean climate, with mild winters and scorching summers. This inverts trail logic: here you run in winter and avoid summer. From November to May temperatures are perfect (10-20°C), with sunny days and little rain. December and January may bring some storms, but nothing compared to continental winter. Spring (March-May) is the golden window: everything blooms, it's pleasantly warm, and trails are in perfect condition. Autumn (October-November) is also excellent, with fewer tourists. Avoid July and August: heat is brutal (35°C+), there's no shade on many Tramuntana sections, and the island is overcrowded.
