Trail de Buñol
Trail de Buñol is a popular trail race starting in the town of Buñol, in the Hoya de Buñol region (Valencia), heading into the trails of its surrounding hills. It is a well-placed autumn date in the Valencian calendar, ideal as an end-of-season race or to build rhythm before winter.
A course to enjoy
The main distance is the 21K (+1.100 m); the other options let runners of different levels take part, from regulars to people just starting out in trail. Distances and elevation come from the organising club’s official poster.
November in the Valencian Community
November brings mild temperatures and shorter days: start with a light layer, a cap or buff and carry enough fluid. If it rains, dirt trails get slippery, so shoe grip makes the difference.
Buñol beyond the race
Buñol, about 40 km from Valencia, is best known for La Tomatina; the trail race shows its calmer side, with paths, pine woods and valley views. If you want to chain more races, see the races in the Valencian Community and plan your season with the planner. Do not forget our mandatory gear checklist.
