Bèrnia Moscatell Trail
Bèrnia Moscatell Trail is a Circuit Trail Marina race starting from the main square of Xaló (Jalón), in the Muscat vineyard valley of the Marina Alta (Alicante), with the Bèrnia range as a backdrop. It is a well-placed autumn date in the Valencian calendar, ideal as an end-of-season race or to build rhythm before winter.
A course to enjoy
The main distance is the 21K (+1.150 m); the other options let runners of different levels take part, from regulars to people just starting out in trail. Distances and elevation follow the registration listing; the organiser’s own website was not available.
November in the Valencian Community
November brings mild temperatures and shorter days: start with a light layer, a cap or buff and carry enough fluid. If it rains, dirt trails get slippery, so shoe grip makes the difference.
Xaló beyond the race
The Xaló valley is Muscat wine country, with almond trees and white villages a few kilometres from the Costa Blanca, ideal for a longer weekend. If you want to chain more races, see the races in the Valencian Community and plan your season with the planner. Do not forget our mandatory gear checklist.
