Trail Chóvar

Trail Chóvar is a race starting from the Plaza Iglesia in Chóvar (Castellón), in the surroundings of the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park, branded Gran Premio Agua de Chóvar. It is a well-placed autumn date in the Valencian calendar, ideal as an end-of-season race or to build rhythm before winter.

A course to enjoy

The main distance is the 20K (+1.350 m); the other options let runners of different levels take part, from regulars to people just starting out in trail. Distances, elevation and start times come from the official poster and the registration listing.

November in the Valencian Community

November brings mild temperatures and shorter days: start with a light layer, a cap or buff and carry enough fluid. If it rains, dirt trails get slippery, so shoe grip makes the difference.

Chóvar beyond the race

Chóvar is a small white-washed village in the heart of the Sierra de Espadán, with springs, cork oak forests and trails worth an extra day. If you want to chain more races, see the races in the Valencian Community and plan your season with the planner. Do not forget our mandatory gear checklist.
