A trail with ocean views

Petizo Trail takes place on 31 October 2026 in Órzola, in the municipality of Haría, northern Lanzarote. It follows paths, tracks and trails along the coast, with volcanic scenery and views of the sea and La Graciosa.

Two distances

The long race is around 20.6 km and the short one 5.8 km, both approximate according to the organisers. Elevation gain is not published, so the figures on this page are estimates. It is a good end-of-season option with gentle technical terrain, mild heat and plenty of light.

How to prepare

Shoes with medium lugs for volcanic gravel and rock, sun protection and enough water. Turn it into a weekend on the island: stay in the north, rent a car and take travel insurance.
