360º The Challenge Gran Canaria

The 360º The Challenge is a multi-day ultra that circles Gran Canaria, starting from Gáldar. The organiser presents it as a race of about 260 km and about 13,000 m of positive and negative elevation, with life bases and strict gear control. The 2026 edition runs from 4 to 8 November.

A management challenge, not just a leg challenge

More than running, here you must manage: life bases are free aid stations with rest areas and food, but beds are limited and maximum rest times may be capped. Runners can receive outside help only at the bases, with one companion per base. The maximum time is set through cut-offs at the bases and checkpoints along the route.

Mandatory gear: the rules decide

Article 9 of the rules requires two headlamps, a water reserve, waterproof and warm clothing, a survival blanket, a bivy bag, GPS with the official tracks and a phone switched on throughout the race, among other items. Also check our gear checklist and rule out any slip before the start.

Gran Canaria beyond the race

Gáldar, Agaete and the island interior offer much more than kilometres. If you want to keep adding races, see the races in the Canary Islands and plan your season with the planner.
