Trail races in Navarre — June 2026
Navarre ranges from the Atlantic Pyrenees to the Bardenas Reales. The Navarrese Pyrenees, Irati beech forests, and Selva de Irati offer trail running in centuries-old forests and high mountains.
3 races scheduled
Climate in Navarre: Navarre has two climatic faces. The northern Pyrenees are Atlantic, with frequent rain and winter snow making them ideal from May to October. The middle mountain ranges (Urbasa, Andía) have perfect windows in spring and autumn, with beech forests in full splendor. The southern Bardenas are extreme Mediterranean: best run in winter or spring, as summer is an oven. This variety requires careful planning by zone: while in June you can enjoy the green Pyrenees, the Bardenas will already be a scorching desert.
