Los Llanos de Aridane (finish area)

Los Llanos de Aridane is where the Transvulcania finish line is located and the area with the widest range of accommodation. Most runners choose this area for logistical convenience.

Advantages:

• A few minutes’ walk from the finish line and the runners’ expo
• The largest choice of restaurants and supermarkets
• Good connection with the organisation’s shuttle service

El Paso (intermediate area)

El Paso is an interesting option if you prefer a quieter atmosphere and want to be closer to the start area for some of the distances.

Advantages:

• Calmer atmosphere than Los Llanos
• Close to the start of the intermediate distances
• Generally cheaper prices

Fuencaliente (ultramarathon start area)

If you are running the ultra distance, Fuencaliente is where the start is. Although the choice is more limited, it lets you rest until the last moment.

Advantages:

• Right next to the ultra start
• No need to get up early for the shuttle
• A more authentic island experience
