Catalonia combines high Pyrenean mountains with the Mediterranean coast. From Ultra Pirineu in the Cadi range to coastal races in Cap de Creus, it offers unique terrain diversity for trail running.

Climate in Catalonia: The climate varies enormously by altitude. On the coast, winters are mild and you can run year-round. In the Pyrenees, snow covers the peaks from November to May. The ideal window is late spring and autumn: mountain trails are open, temperatures are pleasant and the forests burst with colour. Summer is good in high mountains but hot at lower elevations.
