Mazucator Sky

Mazucator Sky is a mountain race with a local soul and a skyrunning vocation. Villa de Mazo, one of La Palma’s most charming towns, organizes this event which in 2026 joins the Sky Fecamon Tour with a revamped format that raises the competitive level.

The course

The 25 km of Mazucator Sky pack 1,700 metres of elevation gain into a course that starts and finishes in Mazo, crossing:

  • Volcanic ravines — Descents and climbs through dry ravine beds with technical terrain
  • Thermophilic woodland — Trails through junipers, dragon trees, and native vegetation
  • Villa de Mazo summits — Ridges with views of the Atlantic Ocean and neighbouring Tenerife
  • Lava fields — Sections of ancient lava with irregular terrain

La Palma, three races on one island

With Mazucator Sky in June, La Palma now boasts three top-level mountain races on its calendar: Reventón Trail in March, Transvulcania in May, and Mazucator Sky in June. Three events with distinct personalities on an island that fits in 700 km² but has mountains over 2,400 metres. Use our season planner to organize all three events in your calendar.
