Volta Peramola

Volta Peramola is a mountain race born from the passion of a group of friends from Peramola to showcase an incredible and still-unknown environment: the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees at the gateway to the Pyrenees. More than a race, it is a charity event that donates part of each registration to research into serious diseases.

The course

The Volta 25K covers 25 kilometres with 1,613 metres of elevation gain through the trails of the Lleida Pre-Pyrenees. A circular route from Peramola passing through:

  • Casa Nerola Ruins - Vestiges of Pyrenean rural architecture
  • Coll de Mur and Sant Salvador Hermitage - Iconic passage on the route
  • Roca del Corb (1,077m) - Highest point with Pre-Pyrenean views
  • Cortiuda Refuge and Sant Honorat - Cultural heritage in the mountains
  • Font del Carner - Natural spring before the finish

Race options

Volta Peramola offers three options. The Volta 25K (1,613m D+) is the main race with a demanding Pre-Pyrenean course. The Volta 10K (648m D+) is the intermediate option, ideal for those seeking an intense but shorter mountain experience. The VP-Caminada 5K is a hiking march open to all levels.

A charity race

What sets Volta Peramola apart is its commitment to solidarity. Part of each registration goes to research into serious and degenerative diseases, in collaboration with various entities and associations. Running here means contributing.
