Ultra Trail Torla-Ordesa: Trail Running in the Heart of Ordesa

Ultra Trail Torla-Ordesa (UTTO) is one of the must-do trail running events in Aragon. Starting and finishing at Plaza Aragón in Torla-Ordesa (1,033 m), its courses wind through the surroundings of Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Four distances — from a vertical kilometer to a 50K ultra — allow runners of all levels to enjoy the most spectacular landscapes in the Pyrenees: limestone canyons, waterfalls, beech forests, and alpine meadows with views of the Sierra de Tendeñera and Bujaruelo Valley.

Ultra de Tendeñera 50K: The Main Event

The Ultra de Tendeñera 50K is the flagship distance of UTTO, with 4,100 meters of elevation gain on a circular route around the Sierra de Tendeñera. The terrain combines technical mountain trails, forest tracks, and high mountain sections with possible snowfields.

Use our time estimator to predict your finish time for the 50K based on the tough elevation profile. Key features of the 50K:

  • Semi-self-sufficient format with 6 aid stations plus finish
  • 250 limited spots
  • 18-hour cutoff time
  • Start from Plaza Aragón in Torla-Ordesa

Vuelta al Cebollar 25K and Os Foratos de Lomenas 13K

The Vuelta al Cebollar 25K offers 1,800 m D+ on a demanding route with a 7-hour cutoff and 250 spots. A distance that combines technical sections with high mountain Pyrenean landscapes.

Os Foratos de Lomenas 13K runs through the Ara River valley with 600 m D+ and a spectacular passage through La Escala, equipped with safety cables, before summiting Peña Piñera. With a 3-hour cutoff and 300 spots, it’s the perfect distance for getting started in mountain trail running.

KV Arañonera: The Vertical Kilometer

The KV Arañonera kicks off the weekend on Friday from Bujaruelo Valley: 2.9 km and 600 m D+ in vertical kilometer format. Only 80 spots for this fast and intense climb up to Arañonera.

Torla-Ordesa: Gateway to the National Park

Torla-Ordesa is the gateway to Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, one of Spain’s most iconic natural spaces. The town preserves its traditional Pyrenean architecture and offers the perfect setting to combine racing with hiking days through the Ordesa Valley, Cola de Caballo, or Añisclo Canyon.

UTTO is committed to sport and nature in a privileged setting, contributing to the development of the Broto Valley and the Sobrarbe region.
