Peak season for trail running

1 race scheduled

Climate in Aragon: The Aragonese climate is continental high mountain, with very specific windows for safe running. June to September is the golden season, when snow recedes and passes open. July and August are peak months, with mild temperatures at altitude but risk of evening storms requiring dawn starts. September is magical: fewer people, autumn colors, and stable conditions. The rest of the year, snow and ice dominate the three-thousanders, turning trail into winter mountaineering requiring technical gear. Spring is unpredictable: it can snow heavily through May.
